Inspiration for the watch’s design has come from the main building of Helsinki-Malmi Airport and aircraft cockpit instruments.

R42 MK II is specially designed for military and aviation purposes. It works like a tool, being highly functional and robust. Chronographic features, luminescent indexes and indicators on the dial are well visible on a night flight. The Swiss-made gold-plated 5030 Quartz movement, modified by De Motu, guarantees that the watch can be relied upon to be accurate both in the air and on the ground.
